Can I delete my photos and data from your system?

Quick Answer

Yes. Contact privacy@photoguruai.com to request deletion. New originals go directly to FAL, not PhotoGuru's S3 or database. Previously uploaded originals may remain until legacy cleanup completes. Provider retention and deletion of gallery outputs are separate.

You can request deletion of your photos or personal data by contacting privacy@photoguruai.com. Tell us what you want deleted so we can confirm the scope and any applicable legal retention requirements.

New originals and legacy cleanup

New originals upload directly from your browser to FAL and are not saved in PhotoGuru's S3 or database. FAL may store and process them, and some tools also use Replicate.

Previously uploaded originals may remain until legacy cleanup completes. Our current cleanup code is configured to run daily for sources at least 30 days old. This covers legacy training photos and archives, editing and video source images, and temporary analysis uploads. Live cleanup has not been verified. ZIPs use their oldest source's deadline; ZIPs without source-age metadata qualify for the next cleanup after legacy jobs drain.

Generated and edited photos and videos are saved in our S3 and linked in our database for your gallery. These outputs, existing models, and your account are not deleted by source cleanup. The legacy new-model training wizard is retired. Account deletion and requests to delete generated content are separate.

After source deletion

Deleted source photos are no longer available for reuse or download from our active storage. Keep your own originals. Future processing may require a new upload.

Providers, backups, and logs

External AI providers, backups, and logs have separate retention arrangements. Our daily source cleanup does not guarantee erasure from those systems on the same schedule. Contact privacy@photoguruai.com for requests involving those systems, and see our Privacy Policy for more information.
